What a match does and does not prove
A verified result proves these exact bytes were produced and registered by the genuine Ink app running on genuine Apple hardware, no later than the registration time shown. A similarity result is a statistical estimate, not proof.
No system can prove the scene itself is real: a photograph of a screen or of a print will verify like any other photo. Treat verification as evidence about the file's origin, not about the truth of what it depicts.
